What kind of cookies do you sell?
Iron biscuits are traditional biscuits from Vlaardingen and are made from flour, caster sugar, butter and herbs. There is no fixed recipe. We know from experience that every baker has its own unique variant. However, they are all oval and with the characteristic print of checkered irons between which they are baked. The cookies used to go out to sea with the Vlaardingen fisherman.
What is the shelf life of the cookies?
We think it's great if you succeed, but if you want to store iron cakes for a long time, we recommend placing them in the freezer.
Can I also return my cookies?
Because Cookiesdoordebus sells products that have a limited shelf life, you cannot return your gift. Once ordered is ordered. If you still have questions or if something went wrong, please let us know. We would be happy to discuss it to resolve it.
How are the cookies sent?
Our packages fit through the letterbox and are sent with DHL. We pack the cookies firmly and festively so that they arrive intact and really look like a present. Let's hope the postman can resist the temptation!
What is the delivery time of the cookies?
We aim to dispatch your order within 1 to 2 working days. DHL normally delivers 'next day' delivery, but please note that mail can always be slightly delayed. So if there is a special occasion where we can surprise your loved one with a cookie through the bus package, we recommend doing this 1 to 2 days earlier.
My cookies have not arrived, what should I do?
We hope not of course, but please contact us if your package has not arrived. We will then look for a suitable solution together.
Do you also ship abroad?
At the moment, we only send our cookies within the Netherlands as standard. If you want to surprise someone abroad, please contact us and we will be happy to help you.
